Classic Car Restoration

Metalwork, period-correct paint and patient craft — classics restored to be driven and admired.

Classic bodywork is where our traditional skills earn their keep: hand-formed repair sections, lead loading, period-correct paint finishes and the patience to do it right. Whether it's honest rust repair to keep a classic on the road, a bare-metal respray, or a full body restoration, we work with you — and your budget — stage by stage.

We're equally happy supporting a home restoration with the metalwork and paint you can't do in a garage, or managing the whole body restoration ourselves.

Our process

How we do it

Every restoration starts with an honest survey of what the car needs (and what it doesn't). We agree a staged plan with clear costs per stage, and photograph everything for the car's history file.

Common questions

Frequently asked

Can you work to a budget on a restoration? +
Yes — the honest way is staging: safety-critical metalwork first, then cosmetics as budget allows. We'll tell you what's essential, what can wait, and what isn't worth doing on your particular car.
Do you do bare-metal resprays? +
Yes. For the right car it's the definitive respray: everything stripped to metal, corrosion dealt with permanently, modern epoxy protection underneath and a period-correct finish on top.
How do I get an estimate? +
Send us clear photos of the damage through the contact form or WhatsApp, or drop in to the workshop in Byfleet during opening hours. Estimates are free and without obligation.
